The Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Lady Chargers entered the week ranked fifth in the Class A Coaches poll.
ELCA has compilled a 5-2 record.
The squad has generated plenty of offense along the way, scoring 10 goals in three seperate games. All three of those games were also shutouts as they kept Dutchtown, Stockbridge and Henry County from scoring.
Lady Golden Eagles hold on to state ranking: The Eagle's Landing girls soccer team has won three of its last five games to push its record to 3-1-1. It gives the Lady Golden Eagles a No. 10 ranking in the Europsorts Coaches Class AAA poll.
Eagle's Landing has outscored its opponents 28 -5. The Lady Golden Eagles have earned shutouts against Charles Drew, Luella and Stockbridge.
Boys soccer:
Dutchtown is ranked eighth in the Eurosport.com Class AAAA coaches poll.
Dutchtown is off to an undefeated start, posting a 6-0-1 record. The winning record includes shutouts against Jones County, Ola and Locust Grove.
The Bulldogs' tie came in a 1-1 match against Berkmar.
Drew stays unbeaten: They may not be ranked in th Eurosports.com coaches' poll, but Drew High is enjoying plenty of success in its second season. The Titans are 6-0 overall and 5-0 in conference play.
At one stretch of the season, Drew put together three-straight shutouts against Eagle's Landing (3-0), Morrow (4-0) and Locust Grove (10-0).
