Martha "Mammie" Maddox passed away on March 17, 2011. A memorial service will be held at a later date. She is survived by her husband, Preston Maddox, of Barnesville; daughters, Nikki Cantrell, of Locust Grove; son, Pres Maddox, of Locust Grove; sisters, Roberta Whitley, of Lawrenceville, Helen Gibson, of Elizabeth City, N.C.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
