Funeral Home: Lowe’s Funeral Home William G. “Bill” Saunders, Jr. William G. “Bill” Saunders, Jr., 64, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., passed away on March 16, 2011. A native of Morrow, and McRae, Ga., he is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Jill Saunders Hall; son, Anthony (Amanda) Saunders; grandsons, Carter, Graham, and Will Hall; mother, Peggy Saunders; sisters, Joy Williams and Cheryl Saunders, and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William G. Saunders, Sr. Mr. Saunders served honorably in the Air National Guard and Reserves. He was employed with BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc., for 37 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, and watching his vast collection of movies. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 19, at First Baptist Church Jonesboro, in Jonesboro, at 3 p.m., with visitation at 2 p.m. Mr. Saunders will be buried at Springhill Cemetery in Alamo, Ga., on Monday, March 21 at 11a.m. Lowe’s Funeral Home in McRae, Ga., is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church Jonesboro “building fund,” in Jonesboro, Ga.More like this story
