Jeanette Medlock, 71, of McDonough, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011. She is survived by her husband, William Medlock; daughter, Donna Veal and husband, Mark, of Stockbridge; son, David Medlock, of Monticello; stepparents, George Rape and June, of McDonough; two granddaughters, Jennifer Carol Veal and Lindsey Medlock; brother, Jimmy Wheeler and wife, Pat, of Duluth; two aunts, Doris Hornsby and Carolyn Wheeler; cousin, Jeannie Shumate; several nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, at 1 p.m., in the Fairview Chapel of Horis A. Ward. Pastor Michael O'Brien Johns will officiate. Interment will be in the Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 22, from 1 p.m., to 3 p.m., and 6 p.m., to 8 p. m.
