Jada is a 3 year old Sealpoint Siamese. She has been spayed and is current on her vaccines. Unfortunately for Jada, her previous owner made the unkind decision to declaw her on all four feet. Poor Jada became an "incovenience" to her former owner, and just days before leaving on a trip, Jada was given up by the very person who should have been much more concerned about Jada's welfare and future. Jada let it quickly be known that she did not wish to share space with other animals, so she had to be placed in a foster home. She is a typical Siamese, and she is certain that all rules should be written by her, and those same rules should be ignored when she sees fit....in other words, Jada wants to "run the show"! She is a gorgeous cat, and she has a very sweet, affectionate side, but when she is done with the attention and she wants to be left alone, she will make her wishes known. Jada's foster mom loves and understands the Siamese breed, but also readily offers that Jada needs to be in a home that has some previous "cat know-how"; Jada is not a cat for the first-time cat owner. It is our hope that Jada be placed somewhere soon, as she has to be confined to one room in her foster home because there are other cats living there. She is clearly a cat who loves attention, so she seems pretty lonely in her one-room area. Once in a new home, where she can be an "only child" and have more room to move about, we feel that Jada will be a much happier little girl.
