Clayton County Public Schools is launching a new show, designed to "highlight great people" in the district, on its public access cable station, the school system has announced.

The first episode of the new show, titled "Hanging with Dr. Hendrix," stars Clayton Schools' Chief of Human Resources, Douglas Hendrix. It was scheduled to premier on Monday evening, on "Channel 24," an educational access channel the district operates on the Comcast Cable Television System, according to a news release from the district.

"The first episode will explore the hardships, triumphs, and character of three amazing seniors," the district's news release states. "Future programs will provide coverage of adults as well as students."

The show will then go into the regular programming rotation for Channel 24, but the district offered no further details on specific air times for the show, in a news release. The programming schedule for Channel 24, on the school system's web site, did not show when the program would be aired.
