The Clayton County Police Department released a Mattie's Call for a 26-year-old Jonesboro man, who did not return home on Monday, March 28, said Sgt. Otis Willis, public information officer for the police department.
Brandon Alfred James, a special needs citizen with delayed development issues, "wandered away from his residence on Spring Haven Court," said Willis.
The sergeant said James was last seen wearing camouflage pants and a black T-shirt with the word, "security," written in white.
James' description includes that he is a black male, has brown eyes, is 6 feet, 3 inches tall, and weighs 300 pounds, he said.
According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's web site, www.gbi.georgia.gov, a Mattie's Call is an emergency missing alert for disabled or elderly people.
People who observe, or obtain information on James' whereabouts, should immediately call 911, or contact the police department, at (770) 477-3648, said Willis.
