Spring break is near for students attending Clayton County Public Schools, and the Clayton County Library System has various activities for the youths to enjoy, said Sharon Jones, of the Headquarters Branch.
Jones said children of all ages can participate in free activities and classes, during the break, from April 4, to April 8. Classes will be available, such as "Imagi-Nature Storytime," on Wednesdays at 7 p.m., at the Headquarters Branch, 865 Battle Creek Road, Jonesboro, she said.
Jones, who teaches the "Imagi-Nature" class, said children dance, listen to stories and use their creativity during arts and crafts.
Seven-year-old Channah Zaab regularly participates in the class with her two younger sisters, Jones said. "We get to hear stories and make other crafts," said Zaab.
"I like doing crafts, because we get to use glitter and glue," said younger sister Idan Zaab.
For more information about the events and classes in the library system, visit www.claytonpl.org, or call the Headquarters Branch, at (770) 473-3850.
