Cornelia Gertrude Trudy WallerErquitt, of Jackson, left this world to find her heavenly reward Thursday, April 28, 2011. She was born Nov. 20, 1930 in South Boston, Va., to the late Rubin and Irene Cornelia Day Morris. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, boating, gospel and country music, and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Trudy is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Margie Woodall, of Jackson, Rita and Wayman Bass, of Jackson, Nancy and Bill Lane, of Magnolia, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Brenda Waller, of Woodstock; 12 grandchildren, Bill and Lori, Brooke, Travis, Stefanie, Will, Whitny, John, Casey, Jeannie, Chuck, Chris, and Andy; 10 great-grandchildren, Layne, Kathryn, Alena, Raquel, Gabriel, Diamond, Travis, MacKenzie, Chase, and Travis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Ralph Waller; the late Doc Erquitt; son-in-law, Ron Woodall, 11 sisters and one brother. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 2, at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with the Rev. John Waller and the Rev. Hayward Bass officiating. Interment followed at 1:30 p.m., at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. The family received friends at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, May 1.
