Age: 92
Curtis Elizabeth Tyson Lewis, 92, of McDonough, died May 4, 2011 at Westbury Medical Care Home in Jackson. She was born July 19, 1918 in Chatsworth, Ga., to the late Thomas J. and Savannah Mullinax Tyson. She was wife to the late Royce Olin”Buck” Lewis, of Rome. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church in McDonough. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Glenda Beth, and her seven older brothers and sisters. She is survived by her two daughters, Jenny Toney and her husband, Bill, and Mary Fly and her husband, Mike; four granddaughters, Micki Welch and husband, Stacey, Kim McCormack and husband, Paul, Kristi Hill and husband, Tony, Candace Maness and husband, Chris, as well as 11 great-grandchildren, all in McDonough. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, May 14, at 1:30 p.m., at Salem Baptist Church, with Pastor Dan McKay and her grandson, Paul McCormack, officiating. www.southcarecremation.com.More like this story
