Mr. Kenneth R. Larimer, Sr., of Griffin, formerly of Forest Park, passed away May 8, 2011. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 11, at 1 p.m., at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors, with interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday prior to the service, from 11 a.m., to 1 p.m. Mr. Larimer served his country as a member of the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Larimer; sons, Kenneth R. "Ronnie" Larimer, Jr., (Vickie), of Forest Park, Donnie Larimer (Judi), of Hapeville, and Roger Wayne Larimer, of Griffin; sisters, Pat Brawley, of Enterprise, Ala., Virginia Hart, of Ozark, Ala., and Lois Thompson, of Birmingham, Ala.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
