Clayton County Water Authority's Shoal Creek Reservoir will be open on May 21, June 4, and June 18, from 7 a.m., to 3 p.m. Shoal Creek Reservoir is located off of Hampton Road and Ellison Road, in Jonesboro. The Clayton County Library System will have a free, "Summer Reading Program," from May 21, to Aug. 6, from 9 a.m., to 9 p.m., at a local Clayton County branch. The Clayton County Water Authority's fishing reservoirs will be open for the fishing season. The Shamrock/Blalock Reservoir, located at 2610 Shamrock Road, Jonesboro, is open Wednesdays, through Sundays, until Oct. 30, from 7 a.m., to 8 p.m. The J.W. Smith Reservoir, located at 143 Northbridge Road, Hampton, will be open Saturdays, through Wednesdays, until Oct. 31, during the same operation hours.
