Willie Mae Hutto, 85, of McDonough, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011. She was born in Nashville, Ga., to the late Freeman and Ethel Wilcox Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ivey Benager Hutto; brother, Felton Taylor; sisters, Lois Jackson, Bernice Smith and Inez Taylor. Willie Mae was the Owner/Operator of Hutto's Day Care for 20 years. Her faith was very important to her. She was a minister, taught Sunday School, was a prayer warrior and performed many other tasks in her church. Most of all, she was a loving wife for 52 years, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Steve) Woodson, of McDonough; siblings, Ruby Thompson, of McDonough; Paul Taylor, of Ludowici, Velma Miness, of Hinesville, and Sarah Mosley, of Ludowici; grandchildren, Chris (Jessica) Woodson, of Stockbridge, Fallon (Chris) Jones, of McDonough, and Zach Woodson; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Jordan and Ben Jones, and Christian Woodson. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, May 21, at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, with Bishop Jeff Daws officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
