Clayton State University Director of Athletics Mason Barfield invites the public to join the Clayton State Athletic Department for this year's "NCAA National Champions" Golf Tournament, on Friday, June 10 at 11:30 a.m., at the Lake Spivey Golf Club.
According to Barfield, this year's tournament holds special meaning, in that participation in this event can lead to great things.
"The women's basketball team's NCAA national championship run would not have been possible without the supplemental funding that comes from this tournament," he says.
Registration forms can be picked in the Clayton State Athletics & Fitness Center, or by calling Pat Keane at (678) 466-4678.
A unit of the University System of Georgia, Clayton State University is an outstanding comprehensive metropolitan university located 15 miles southeast of downtown Atlanta.
