Bill Elliott, Jr. Bill Elliott, Jr., of Jackson, passed away May 19, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, William T. Elliott, Sr., and Frances Elliott; and wife, Terry Hope Elliott. Bill was a member of the Riverdale Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his son, Bill Elliott, III, and wife, Stephaine Elliott; daughter, Elizabeth Elliott; two grandchildren, William Elliott, IV, and Brittany Elliott; three sisters, Doddy and husband, Jim, Ryan and Denise Higginbotham, and Charlene and husband, Jim Kizzar; brother, Mike, and wife, Janelle Bradford. Mr. Walter D. White, 78, of Forest Park, passed away May 21, 2011. He was a member of Harvest Baptist Tabernacle. He is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Dallas Batson, of Blue Ridge; sons and daughters-in-law, Walter, Jr., and Amy White, of North Carolina, Chris and Teresa White, of Newnan, Ga.; son, Michael White, of North Carolina; brothers, Sherman White, Wendell White, Herman White, Jim Edd White; sisters, Merlene Beasley, Barbara Berrong, Penny Walker; 13 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Ronald Craig Sorrells Ronald Craig Sorrells, 64, of Conley, Ga., died Saturday, May 21, 2011. He was born in Atlanta, to the late Frank N., and Mattie L. Sorrells. Mr. Sorrells was a member of The Way of the Cross Baptist Church, and he was an Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Nell Sorrells; sons, Scott (Sylina) Sorrells, of Decatur, and Keith (Heather) Sorrells, of Casper, Wyoming; grandson, Rilee Sorrells and granddaughter, Taylor Johnson.
