Mr. Herbert H. Donehoo, 83, of McDonough, passed away May 23, 2011. He was born in Atlanta, to the late Herbert H. Donehoo, Sr. and the late Blanche Kirkland Donehoo. He was preceded in death by sisters, Ann and Joan. He served his country in the United States Army and retired after 36 years as the chief of the printing plant at Ft. McPherson. He was a member of Timberridge Presbyterian Church, the Moose Lodge, and enjoyed traveling, printing, reading, woodworking and spending time with family. He volunteered delivering Meals on Wheels and was an avid sports fan. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Ann Rice Donehoo, of McDonough; children, David (Connie) Donehoo, of McDonough, Gail Huskey, of Winder, Ga.; grandchildren, Rachel (Scott) Summers, David Donehoo, Jr., Andrew Huskey and Sam Huskey; brothers, Johnny, Robert and Bill Donehoo; sister, Martha (Bobby) Graham; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, May 28, at 3 p.m., from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. The Rev. Matt Allison will officiate. Friends may visit the family Saturday, from 1p.m., until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the Timberridge Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Society, in memory of Mr. Donehoo.
