Friendship Community Church, at 4141 Old Fairburn Road, College Park, will hold its annual Memorial Day concert Sunday, May 29 at 6 p.m. Admission is free. Dixon Grove Baptist Church, at 7690 Fielder Road, Jonesboro, will hold a special evening of worship and praise Wednesday, June 1 at 7 p.m. Performing in concert will be Troy Sneed and other guest artists, featuring the Dixon Grove Baptist Church Combined Choirs. Pastor Camile Holmes from Macedonia Baptist Church in Villa Rica will lead the praise service. A love offering of $5 is appreciated.

Red Oak United Methodist Church, located at 3894 Walt Stephens Road, Stockbridge, will have its annual barbecue June 11 from 9 a.m., to 6 p.m., in the church parking lot. The Methodist Men will be selling ribs, chicken dinners and sandwiches.

The Word of God Christian Ministries Church, 1207 McDonough Road, Hampton, provides new and gently used clothes for people in need in the Hampton and Clayton County areas. The Laymen Ministry of Christians for Change Baptist Church, located at 2110 Bethsaida Road in Riverdale, is announcing the arrival of Cub and Boy Scout troops at CFC.
