Mrs. Estelle White Craig, of Morrow, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011. She was born in the Brace Community in Tennessee on May 31, 1930, to the late Katie Lee Gilliam White and the late Looney Alexander White.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Leonard S. Craig, along with sisters, Nell Hudson, Ethel Butler, Effie Mitchell, and Lougyne Pigg; brothers, Hubert, Walter, and Monroe White. She loved her family and cooking, and will be sorely missed by those who loved her. She was a member of the Tara Church of Christ in Jonesboro. Survivors are two children, Linda Nasworthy and Curtis Craig; sister, Bobbie M. Patton, of Cedar Bluff, Ala.; grandchildren, Brent and Adam Nasworthy, Clinton and Austin Craig and Krystal Whitehouse; great-grandchildren, Allyson, Abigail and Thomas Nasworthy, and Ronnie Whitehouse; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 3, at 1 p.m., in the Ford-Stewart Funeral Home Chapel, with Minister Richard Harp officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 2 p.m., to 4 p.m., at the funeral home.
