Mr. Carl S. Mulligan, Jr., 84, of McDonough, passed away Nov. 3, 2011.
Carl was born in Duluth, to the late Carl S. and Izora Saxon Mulligan, Sr. He was preceded in death by a wife, Dorothy Mulligan, and by sisters, Lucy Palmer and Geraldine Moss.
He worked for more than 30 years at West Lumber Company. He was an avid bowler in his early years, and enjoyed NASCAR and the Braves.
Sonny is survived by his wife, Lynne Mulligan; children, Tony (Bobbi Adams) Mulligan, of McDonough, Elaine (Bobby) Konvicka, of Union City, Gail (Harry Maines) Wynne, of Milner; mother of his children, Ernestine Mulligan, of Riverdale; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; sister, Montine Clay, of Alabama; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Nov. 7, at 1 p.m., from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park.
