Amos Jerald Shipp
Amos Jerald Shipp, 66, of Baker, Fla., passed away Nov. 3, 2011. He was born Oct. 1, 1945 in Fort McPherson, Ga., to Mary Ilettie Langley Shipp and the late Amos Junior Shipp. Mr. Shipp was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Golan Assembly of God. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Amos Joshua Shipp, who passed away in June 2000. Survivors include his beloved wife, Rebecca Becky Shipp; two sons, Amos Jerry Shipp and Christopher Bell; four daughters, Angela Jo Davis, April Jane Lopresto, Regenna Powell and Viktorrea Powell; a brother-in-love, Ronald Bell; three sisters, Rebecca Hoffman, Diana Green; and sister-in-love, Barbara Weeks; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Golan Assembly of God Church, 6612 N. Highway 189, Baker, Fla., 32531. National Cremation & Burial Society of Milton has charge of local arrangements.More like this story
