Mr. Marion L. Odom
Mr. Marion L. Odom, 83, of McDonough, passed away, Nov. 16, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Dennis Wood, of Dunwoody; sons, Stephen E. Odom, of Woodlands, Texas, Ronald Odom, of McDonough; brother, John W. Odom, of Atlanta; sister, Edna Moreman, of San Antonio, Texas; 6 grandsons, and 3 great-granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m., at Salem Baptist Church. He will lie in-state one hour prior to the service at the church. Pastor Rick Statham will officiate. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Nov. 17, from 2 p.m., tp 4 p.m., and 6 p.m., to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Salem Baptist Church, Benevolence Fund, 1724 Hwy 155 N., McDonough, Ga., 30252.
