Henry County police are searching for three suspects, each involved in different crimes, according to Henry Police Maj. Jason Bolton.
Police said a man allegedly took a wallet left behind by another customer at a Stockbridge liquor store. The theft took place on Nov. 18, at 8 p.m., at the Highway 138 Package Store, 1028 Georgia Hwy. 138 West, in Stockbridge.
Anyone with information on the wallet bandit is asked to contact Henry Police Detective J. Brumage by phone at (770) 288-8250, by fax at (770) 288-8135, or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In another matter, on Oct. 30, at approximately 3:35 a.m., someone broke the front door glass of the Shell Gas Station at 1150 W. Jodeco Road, also in Stockbridge, according to Bolton. He said a man entered the gas station, and allegedly stole 66 cartons of cigarettes worth $2,706. The thief used a trash can from the store to take the cigarettes, said Bolton.
"The video shows the suspect re-entered the store and went to the back office, where he removed two boxes of cigarettes and the cash deposit from the previous day totaling $3,497," added Bolton.
Also, Henry County police are searching for a woman they believe has committed identity theft in various Ellenwood stores. Maj. Bolton said an unknown black female has been using a stolen bank card to make purchases from Home Depot, Ingles, and Kroger.
"The suspect is using the victim's card and pin number to make small purchases, and then withdrawing cash, a total of ten transactions to date," said Bolton. "The victim has reviewed the video [s], and does not recognize the subject."
The black female appears to be in her late 30s to 40s, and wears her hair in multiple configurations, continued Bolton.
