Stockbridge Presbyterian Church, at 4740 North Henry Blvd., in Stockbridge, will hold a worship service, Sunday, at 11 a.m. Sunday School will begin at 9:45 a.m. A Wednesday Nite Supper is scheduled for Nov. 30, at 5:45 p.m., and children's activities and an Adult Bible Study will be held at 6:30 p.m. The church is holding an essay contest for children in kindergarten through 12th-grade. Bethel United Methodist Church, at 245 Fairview Road, in Stockbridge, will host its annual Live Nativity, Dec 2 and Dec. 3, from 6:30 p.m., to 8:30 p.m. The church will hold a Parent's Time Away event, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m., to 5 p.m. The cost to participate is $7 per child, and the event will include food, entertainment, a movie, and crafts for kids. Space is limited to 30 slots. The Chancel Choir will present a Christmas Cantata, Dec. 10, and Dec. 11, at 3 p.m., each day. Bethel United Methodist Church, at 245 Fairview Road, in Stockbridge, will host "A Christmas Afternoon with Music," Dec. 4, at 4 p.m. The event will include piano-based performances Brian McClure, and others. McClure is a graduate of Georgia State University, with a major in piano performance. A love offering will be collected during the event, with proceeds to benefit the Haven House domestic-violence shelter, in McDonough, and Abigail's Pantry, which operates through the church. Community Bible Church, at 2001 Jodeco Road, in Stockbridge, will host Breakfast with Santa events, Dec. 10, at 8:30 a.m., and 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $7.50, each, and there is no charge for children under the age of one. Henry Baptist Church, at 4035 Jodeco Road, in McDonough, will host "Worship the Wonder," Dec. 10, from 6 p.m., to 9 p.m. The free event will include pony rides, hayrides, inflatables, a jazz band, 20,000 lights, and food. A snow slope willl also be featured, weather permitting. The public is invited. The church holds an Awana program and a Summit Student Ministry, each Wednesday, at 6:45 p.m. The Awana program is designed for children in preschool through sixth-grade.
