Pets of the Week - Lily

Lily is a 2 year old Siamese mix. Lily will be spayed and vaccinated prior to adoption. Lily was living as a stray in a local trailer park being fed by some kind women who lived in the park. Lily was rescued taken to her new foster home, where it was quickly noted that she was pregnant. Lily was allowed to complete her pregnancy and four beautiful babies arrived on August 31. Due to her pregnancy and then nursing the babies, Lily is only now able to be spayed and vaccinated (which will be done by CCHS).

Lily is a great little girl; she is overly affectionate and loving. Aside from her wonderful personality, she also has quite a unique appearance! Lily is polydactyl on all four feet; meaning that she has an extra toe on each foot. This is also known as a "Hemingway cat", and folklore holds that this type of cat brings good luck to the home where it lives. In addition, Lily has a bobtail....her little tail is only about two inches long! Lily has done very well with her own kittens, but when exposed to the other adult cats in her foster home, she has not been very friendly toward them.

After several attempts, it has been decided that Lily will likely need to be an "only cat" (unless someone is interested in one of her kittens, also available for adoption!).
