Virginia "Ginny" Cox
Mrs. Virginia "Ginny" Cox, of Jonesboro, passed away Oct. 10, 2011. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m., at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church, with interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Marti Slife and Dr. Richard Long will officiate. The family will receive friends TODAY (Wednesday), from 5 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Most important to Ginny was taking care of her family and she enjoyed cooking and sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.B. Cox, and is survived her daughters, Gina V. Whitehead, of Jonesboro, Tricia Armstrong (Don), of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Sherrie Cox, of Jonesboro; son, Kevin Cox (Cindy), of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Wes Morgan, Ben Vallowe, Erin Anderson, Drew Cox and Allyson Cox; great-grandchildren, Dallas and Jaxson Morgan, and baby Anderson.
