Taylor is a 2 year old Border Collie mix. She has been spayed and fully vaccinated. Taylor was abandoned when her former family moved and "forgot" to put her in the car when they left...not likely. CCHS volunteers realized the poor dog had been left behind, and began feeding her and trying to find someone to take her permanently. Unfortunately, Animal Control was called and Taylor ended up sitting in a cage, slated for death. Once located, she was immediately pulled and taken to the CCHS shelter. She is a very sweet girl with people, but she does not seem to take well to other dogs. She should probably be an "only pet". Typical of Border Collies, she is full of energy and would do well with an active family who can keep her busy. She has shown herself to be extremely intelligent and appears to learn things quickly and easily. For more information, please call Clayton County Humane Society at 770-471-9436.
