Four children, believed to have been kidnapped a month ago from their Forest Park home by their father, are back in Clayton County after an ordeal that took them across international borders, according to a spokesman for the Forest Park Police Department.
Maj. Chris Matson said Jose Javier Madrigal, 12, Francisco Benjamin Madrigal, 10, Michael Madrigal, 9, and Geneicey Madrigal, 6, turned up at their grandmothers home in Mexico after they were allegedly kidnapped last month. He added that the grandmother got a hold of the childrens mother, Miriam Rivera, through other family members, and they arranged to have the youths returned to Forest Park. They were returned to their mother today [Wednesday], Matson said. He added that the alleged kidnapper, Francisco Madrigal, 34, remains at-large. He faces four counts each of kidnapping and interference with custody.More like this story
