Mr. Jack Satterfield, 75, of Stockbridge, passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, James “Doc” Satterfield; mother, Nancy Walker Satterfield; sisters, Clara Scott and Billie Rae Brooks.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Potter Satterfield, of Stockbridge; children, Jatha S. (Tim) Day, Brad Satterfield, Jabra (David) Turner; brothers, James Satterfield, Joe Satterfield, Johnny Satterfield; sisters, Glenda Thomason, Joan Baldwin; grandchildren, Bryan (Danielle) Day, Justin Day, Autumn Day, Hope Satterfield, Haley Satterfield, Katrina Irvin, Rory Turner; great-grandchildren, Aubrie Day, Abbie Day.
Services will be held Sunday, Oct. 23, at 3 p.m., in the Worship Center of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro.The Rev. Irvin Pearre, Dr. Mel Blackby and The Rev. Hinton Harris will officiate. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park.
