Delono Brown, Luella: In helping the Lions snap a four-game losing streak, the senior linebacker had nine tackles, including 2.5 tackles for loss. He had a single-game school record 3.5 sacks to go with five quarterback hurries and a blocked extra point.
Dieonte Bryant, Henry County: The wide receiver had five receptions for 87 yards in the Warhawks Region 4-AAA win over Eagle’s Landing.
Derrick Craine, Union Grove: In a 28-21 win over Ola, the junior running back had 16 carries for 134 yards and two touchdowns.
Travis Custis, Lovejoy: The junior running back had 194 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 14 carries in a 34-0 win over Forest Park to clinch a playoff spot for the No. 8 Wildcats.
Slater Eckert, Locust Grove: He had 97 yards of offense and seven tackles on defense in a loss to Stockbridge.
DeMarquis Gates, Lovejoy: In the eighth-ranked Wildcats 34-0 win over Forest Park, the sophomore linebacker returned a fumble 15 yards for a touchdown as the defense recorded its sixth shutout the season.
Jared Hendricks, Luella: The sophomore quarterback had nine carries for 80 yards and two touchdowns in a 20-13 win over Langston Hughes. He also was 7 of 15 for 69 yards and a touchdown in the Region 2-AAAAA win.
Christian Hill, Lovejoy: The senior running back had 69 yards of offense and a touchdown in the team’s Region 4-AAAA win over Forest Park.
Chris Moody, Henry County: The senior quarterback had 136 yards rushing on 14 carries and two touchdowns. He also completed 11 passes for 133 yards. On defense, he had an interception and a pass break up.
Jaime Nunez, Lovejoy: The junior kicker had field goals of 35 and 42 yards in win over Forest Park.
Jonathan Selfe, Union Grove: The junior quarterback had 184 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 14 carries in the Wolverines’ 28-21 win over Ola.
John Tatum, Eagle’s Landing Christian: The senior running back had 296 yards rushing and four touchdowns in the fourth-ranked Chargers’ 52-7 win over Our Lady of Mercy.
Keenan Wise, Locust Grove: The quarterback threw for 161 yards and a touchdown. He also had 28 yards rushing and a touchdown in the team’s 28-14 loss to Stockbridge in a Region 4-AAA game.
