Henry County police are praising the attentiveness of some Stockbridge neighbors in helping to catch alleged burglars inside a house in their neighborhood.
The neighbors called police to a Stockbridge neighborhood where they believed there was a burglary in progress, on Oct. 25, according to Henry Police Sgt. Mike Ireland.
“Neighbors observed three males entering into [the] residence and notified the police,” said Ireland. “Officers arrived at the location and found all three subjects inside the residence. The homeowner was not familiar with the suspects,” added Ireland.
Dennis Justo DelaRosa, Najee Egypt Stephens, and Michael Johnathan Vanconey, were arrested and charged with burglary and marijuana possession.
The three alleged burglars appeared before Henry County Magistrate Court Judge Robert Godwin Wednesday. All were jailed under bonds of $15,000 each.
Vanconey and DelaRosa were released from the Henry County Jail on the same day. Stephens remained in jail at press time Friday.
