Sept. 10-17

Atlanta Southside SDA Church, 9940 Dixon Industrial Blvd., Jonesboro, is hosting a series of evangelistic meetings Sept. 10, through Sept. 17, from 7:30 p.m., to 9 p.m. On the first night, there will be an opening concert, from 6:30 p.m., to 7:30 p.m., and a health fair.

Sept. 11

St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 1221 Morrow Road, Morrow, will have a ceremony to bury a time capsule, intended to stay buried for 50 years, on Sunday, Sept. 11, at 12:30 p.m.

Sept. 17

Dixon Grove Baptist Church, 7690 Fielder Road, Jonesboro, will be giving away boxes of food Sept. 17, from 9 a.m., to noon, in the church parking lot. There is a limit of one food box per family, and a photo identification card must be presented.
