Pets of the Week - Lesley

Lesley is a one year old Shih-Tzu. She has been spayed and fully vaccinated. Lesley is now on her second round through the CCHS shelter. Originally, she was found wandering as a young stray, and was turned over to CCHS. She was adopted out fairly quickly, and then was returned. Sometimes people are far too anxious for things to be just "perfect" when bringing a new pet into their homes, and usually things just don't happen that way. A new pet takes time, patience and commitment. Lesley is a great dog, and our staff has noticed that she seems to be very intelligent. We believe that given the right home, with just a little patience and training, Lesley will be the "perfect" pet. She is currently "rooming" with three other dogs, so we know that she plays well with others. For more information about how to adopt Lesley, please call Clayton County Humane Society at 770-471-9436.
