Paul and Anna Floyd, of Griffin, announce the birth of their daughter, Elly Isabel Floyd, Aug. 4, 2011, at Henry Medical Center. She was born at 8:29 a.m., weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 20 inches long. Grandparents are Mike and Zeena Cooper, of Clermont, Fla,; Preston Dorsey, of McDonough; Jeff and Judy Floyd, of McDonough. Great-grandparents are Sames and Claudine Wainwright, of Albany, Ga.; Kenneth and Evelyn Martin, of Stockbridge; John and Jane Floyd, of Griffin.
