A Jonesboro woman was arrested Monday night on misdemeanor charges that she confronted a Clayton County school bus driver and used obscene language in front of about 15 riders.
Stacey Michelle Duncan Jones, 38, made her first appearance Tuesday afternoon in Clayton Magistrate Court. Magistrate Monica Ewing set a total $3,000 bond for charges of disorderly conduct and disruption of the operation of public schools.
Jones told Ewing she could make bond and wanted to hire her own attorney.
Warrants allege Jones approached the driver at a bus stop near her home in a ";loud and boisterous manner"; about something that happened Friday. Police said Jones used obscene language in front of about 15 underage bus riders.
The alleged confrontation delayed the bus for five minutes and interfered with the operation of Jonesboro Middle School, allege the warrants.
