Investigators with the Clayton County sheriff’s Fugitive Unit have arrested three of four people wanted in connection with the April 5 shooting death of a man on Southlake Parkway, said Lt. Brian Crisp.
An unidentified juvenile is among the three arrested Tuesday afternoon. Investigators also arrested Demarcus Devon Martin at a Lithonia address, said Crisp. Hours later, they picked up Laferriyona Noka Mathis at a home on Riverchase Drive in Jonesboro. They are charged with murder, aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit a crime.
Crisp said the three, along with a fourth unidentified suspect, conspired April 5 to rob Omar Jerrod Brown. During the alleged robbery, Brown was shot and killed at 7290 Southlake Parkway in Morrow, said Crisp.
The two adults will be held without bond in the Clayton County Jail pending a first appearance hearing, which could happen as soon as Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators continue to search for the fourth suspect.
