Glen Allen Bryant was born on Nov. 26, 1964, to Earnest and Ethel Bryant in Charleston, SC. He graduated from Middletown High School in 1984 and later went on to earn his Associates degree in Business Management from Kaplan University. Glen dedicated his life to serving his heavenly father Jehovah in June 1989.  

On November 25, 1989 he was joined in marriage to Sharon Brown and together they were blessed with one son, Joshua Bryant. Glen and Sharon moved to Atlanta in 1996 and Glen began working as a truck driver in the Atlanta area. He began working as a driver for Staples, Inc. in 2000 and was a dedicated employee for over 11 years. Glen was a loving father, devoted husband and leader in the special needs community. He served as a coach and Vice President of the Clayton County Challengers Baseball League for many years. He departed from this life on April 17, 2012 in Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA.  

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Sharon Bryant; son, Joshua Bryant; parents, Earnest & Ethel Bryant; grandmother, Ethel Hamilton Kelly; brothers, Earnest Jr. (Patricia), Timothy (Vanessa), Nathaniel (Mary); sister, Sandra Brown (Spencer); mother-in-law, Janice Brown; brother-in-law, Phillip Brown; sister-in-law, Shalanda Bridges; nephews, Jason, Eurndraus, Christopher, Tyree and nieces Tenesha, Elisha, Felicia and Sontiea; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at Parkway Garden Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 6:00 PM for a Memorial Service in the chapel. A funeral service will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness 3312 Bonanza Road, Charleston, SC 29414 on Wednesday, April 23, 2012 at 12:00 PM with burial to follow at the Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Charleston, SC. Arrangements are under the directions of Parkway Garden Chapel Funeral Home, Forest Park, GA.
