The Springfield, Ill.-based Treasure Hunters Roadshow plans to make another stop in McDonough next month, and invites residents and the surrounding communities.
THR & Associates will be hosting a exhibit May 1-5, at the Sleep Inn, located at 945 Ga. Highway 155 South in McDonough.
The exhibition will be held from 9 a.m., until 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday.
THR & Associates is a purchasing organization that evaluates and buys common items such as coins, paper currency, and musical instruments. Representatives note that the group recently paid $23,000 for a $1,000-bill that dated back to 1880. The company also buys mismatched and broken jewelry — gold and silver.
