Opportunity zones to be discussed in Hampton

The City of Hampton will hold a work session today, May 1, at 6 p.m., at City Hall, at 17 East Main St., in Hampton. Officials are expected to discuss the creation of a redevelopment plan, for the purpose of establishing opportunity zones within the city, according to City Manager Andy Pippin. Beginning May 10, Henry TV14 will begin broadcasting the Henry County Zoning Advisory Board meetings. The McDonough Veterans Information and Referral Office is located on the first floor of McDonough City Hall, at 136 Keys Ferry Street, in McDonough, to assist area veterans and their families.
