JONESBORO — Clayton County police issued a Mattie’s Call for a Riverdale man who apparently walked away from his home Monday just after noon.
Officer James Whitman said Bennie Johnson, 61, was last seen on Collier Way about 12:20 p.m.
Johnson was wearing a long-sleeve brown shirt, gray pants, brown shoes and a hat, said Whitman. He is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He is believed to be suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, which can cause confusion and memory loss.
Anyone with information on Johnson’s whereabouts should call the Clayton County Police Department at (770) 477-3747 or 911.
