JONESBORO — Clayton County police cancelled a Mattie’s Call Thursday for a Riverdale man who walked away from his home Monday just after noon.
Officer James Whitman said Bennie Johnson, 61, was found Thursday by police in Atlanta. Johnson, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, was taken to a hospital for a medical evaluation.
“We would like to thank the local police agencies and citizens for their efforts in helping to locate Mr. Johnson,” said Whitman.
