McDONOUGH — Funeral services for Jason Tyler Holland have been moved.

Services for the 15-year-old will start at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at Sharon Baptist Church. The church is located at 536 North Ola Road in McDonough. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road in Stockbridge.

Holland, a sophomore at Ola High School in McDonough, died early Friday, Aug. 17. Henry County Coroner Donald Cleveland conducted the autopsy Monday.

“At this point, all I can say is that it is inconclusive, pending toxicology reports,” said Cleveland.

The coroner said there was “nothing obvious found” as it relates to the cause of death. He anticipates the Georgia Bureau of Investigation will produce a toxicology report within the next three to six months.

Ola High Principal Ross Iddings said Holland played offensive lineman on his school’s junior varsity football team, and he was well-liked by his teachers at the school.

The young man’s obituary and funeral arrangements are posted online by Haisten Funerals & Cremations in McDonough.

“He was a straight-A student,” according to the obituary. “Jason was a very thoughtful, fun-loving young man who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.”
