Kalvin Hobbs scored a game-high 18 points to lead Dutchtown to its first win of the season.
Donovahn Jones, a Missouri football commitment, added 17 points for the Bulldogs, who improved to 1-4 on the season. It was the first coaching win for first-year coach Terry Herrod.
Griffin got nine points from Rayshad Armstrong.
Hamilton 80, Eagle’s Landing 70
Despite Isaiah Dennis’ 23 points, the Golden Eagles in Memphis in the annual Memphis/Atlanta Challenge.
Eric Wortham had 18 points for Eagle’s Landing as it lost for the first time this season.
Luella 59, Druid Hills 58
Lions point guard Nyrryk Evans hit two game-winning free throws in the waning seconds for a Region 2-AAAAAA victory.
Evans led Luella with 19 points and eight assists. Kadarious Compton added 12.
Spalding 57, Woodland 51
Markee Dickerson scored 14 points to lead the Jaguars to the win.
Javon Harris and Cameron Clayton scored six points each for Woodland.
Girls
Griffin 46, Dutchtown 44
Shacoria Jones scored 16 points and Ashton Elliott added 11 points for the Lady Bears.
Victoria Nelson led Dutchtown with 11 points.
North Clayton 43, Locust Grove 37
Taylor Delasbour’s 15 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter, wasn’t enough in a Region 4-AAAA game.
Alley Anderson led North Clayton with 20 points.
Sabiyah Broderick added 13 points for Locust Grove.
