GIRLS
Locust Grove 48, Griffin 43: Sabiyah Broderick had a team-high 15 points to lead the Lady Wildcats to a Region 4-AAAA victory.
Taylor Delasbour added 11 points and Alley Feggenbush scored 10 for Locust Grove (2-7, 1-4), which won its second straight game for the first time in school history.
The Lady Wildcats led the entire game except for two minutes late in the first half when Griffin took a 21-20 lead going into halftime.
Xandria Hosley led the Lady Bears with 19 points.
Jonesboro 71, Stockbridge 15: Victoria Florence led two other players in double figures with 18 points as the Lady Cardinals cruised to the win. Briana Benson had 15 points and Raven Wynn finished with 10 points
Jonesboro improved to 3-2 overall as Stockbridge dropped to 0-6 on the season.
Douglass 55, Morrow 50: Despite three players in double figures, the Lady Mustangs lost for the third straight time in the non-region game.
Deja Jackson had 17 points and Rhein Beamon added 14 points. Ditara Pack also had 12 points for Morrow, which dropped to 1-6 on the season.
Dutchtown 68, Spalding 44: Domnique Clune scored a game-high 30 points to lead the Lady Bulldogs.
BOYS
Union Grove 59, McIntosh 56: Sean Williams hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give the Wolverines a thrilling Region 4-AAAAA crossover victory.
Williams led Union Grove (6-2, 2-2) with 25 points.
Jonesboro 66, Stockbridge 36: Cameron Sutton had 13 points to lead the Cardinals to their fourth straight win.
Elijah Wade added 10 points as Jonesboro improved to 4-1 on the season.
Ola 61, Creekside 55: Coleman Seabolt scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Mustangs, who snapped a five-game losing streak.
Justin Wimberly and Malik Smith scored 10 points each as Ola improved to 2-7.
Eagle’s Landing 70, Upson-Lee 53: The Golden Eagles snapped a two-game losing streak as Eric Wortham paced them with a game-high 18 points to lead two other players into double figures.
Isaiah Dennis had 16 points and Chris Davenport finished with 15 as the Golden Eagles improved to 5-2 heading into Friday’s home game against Griffin.
Eagle’s Landing played this past weekend in the Memphis/Atlanta Challenge in Tennessee where they lost to Hamilton and Melrose.
North Clayton 59, Woodland 52: Stafan Bradley had a game-high 25 points as the Eagles won for the third straight time.
North Clayton improved to 4-2 overall with the non-region victory. Woodland remained winless on the season.
