STOCKBRIDGE — A Clayton County police officer has been rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound suffered within the hour in Stockbridge.
The shooting reportedly took place in the parking lot of Motel 6. A Clayton
County sheriff's deputy wrecked his car trying to get to the scene but he is OK, said sheriff's Capt. Brian Crisp.
Clayton police have cordoned off several routes in Stockbridge but haven't released any information.
