Mr. O.W. “Warren” Bishop, 88, of Hampton, died Dec. 22, 2012. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a building contractor throughout the South Metro Atlanta area for many years. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Annette Bishop; five children, Pamela (Larry) Hogue, of Blairsville, Fred W. Bishop, of Newnan, Phil R. Bishop, of Hampton, Paula (John) Littleton, of Fayetteville, and Jody S. Bishop, of Hampton; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; three sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 27, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Pastor Justin Kollmeyer officiated. Burial followed at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
