Deonna Lynn Smith Franklin, 41, of Rex, passed away at her home on Jan. 31, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Tim Franklin; daughters, Stefani and Melani; parents, Butch and Shirley Smith; and brother, Samuel Smith. All reside in Atlanta. She left a host of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The service will be held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors, Sunday, Feb. 5, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. David McCoy officiating. Interment will follow at College Park Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, from 2 p.m., to 5 p.m. Thomas L.
