The chocolate will be flowing in Hampton on Saturday, as the city sponsors the “Hampton Chocolate Festival,” which offers a variety of chocolate delicacies, according to Hampton Main Street Director Candy Franklin.
The festival is scheduled to be held from 7 p.m., until 10 p.m., at the Historic Hampton Depot, which is located at 20 East Main Street, in downtown.
“The purpose of the festival is to help sponsor future events,” said Franklin. Tickets are $15, and are available at the door.
Some of festivities include music by a DJ, a s’mores bar, cake balls and a chocolate fountain. “We also have a professional photographer to take photos under a decorative arch inside the depot,” said Franklin, who added that the photos are $5 each.
Franklin said there will be “a large raffle” offering various gift items, including gift certificates for Pizza Hut, Saki, and Sticks and Stones, as well as other restaurants. Gift items will include a cooler from Serendipity, assorted trinkets from the Atlanta Motor Speedway, coffee beans and a thermos from Starbucks.
