A Henry County woman is scheduled to appear on a popular game show, “Wheel of Fortune.”
Unique Fields, of Stockbridge, will try her luck as a contestant, Monday, at 7 p.m., on WATL MyNetworkTV, Channel 36.
“Unique is a huge fan of ‘Wheel’ and loves to gather her family together to watch the show each night,” said Leslie Jacobe, from Wheel of Fortune Publicity, in Culver City, Calif. “She spends her free time doing hair, and is looking forward to putting her winnings in her children’s college fund.”
“Wheel of Fortune,” hosted by Pat Sajak and Vanna White, is in its 29th season. Jacobe said Fields applied to be a contestant on the game show, online, at WheelofFortune.com.
“More than 10,000 people try out each year, and fewer than 600 are selected to appear as contestants,” said Jacobe.
Fields’ appearance was taped at the end of January, according to Jacobe.
“Unique is married to her husband, Ryan, and they have six children between them,” Jacobe said. “She is currently attending cosmetology school to get her master cosmetology license.”
Fields will compete on the show during “American Landmarks” week, which features some of the country’s most iconic and historic attractions, according to Jacobe.
