A Forest Park man, wanted in connection with a November shooting, was arrested Friday afternoon and booked into the Clayton County Jail.
Clayton County Sheriff's Lt. Brian Crisp said Gary Bernard Williams, 22, was arrested about 12:55 p.m., by members of the Fugitive Squad and the Forest Park Police Department.
Williams was wanted on charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault and burglary. The charges stemmed from an incident that occurred Nov. 29, at an apartment complex at 4241 Hendrix Drive, in Forest Park.
Crisp said Williams fired a shotgun at the victim, but failed to hit his intended target.
"Williams was accompanied by a second individual, who was alleged to have been armed with a firearm as well," said Crisp. "An ongoing investigation continues in reference to the second individual."
Williams is being held without bond, pending his first appearance hearing, Saturday morning, in Clayton County Magistrate Court.
