Dash is a Lynxpoint Siamese mix. He was born on May 7, 2009. He has been neutered and fully vaccinated. Dash's mom was found in Animal Control when she was pregnant with Dash and his siblings. She was very sick at the time, and Animal Control had slated her for euthanasia the following day. A CCHS volunteer saw the little mama kitty, and knew that something had to be done fast. Dash's mom was pulled and taken to a foster home where she could recover from her illness and to hopefully, be able to deliver her babies. The kittens were born healthy, and all were fairly quickly adopted into new homes. Dash went out of CCHS as a cute, cuddly little kitten, to a home where the folks promised he would live out his life. A year and a half later, they brought back a full-grown cat (much harder to adopt out than a kitten!!) and announced that they were moving and that Dash no longer fit into their plans. Dash was very angry about being brought into a shelter, and he didn't mind letting everyone know that he was displeased. He was moved from the community cat room into the office, an area where he did not have to compete with so many other cats, and he has done better in there. However, Dash has a mind of his own, and he will need a home where the adoptive family already has a little "cat know how". He is a gorgeous boy, who just needs a home with a little knowledge and patience. For more information, please call Robin at 770-478-7531.
